성산일출봉! 구름을 품고 바다를 끌어당기다
182m의 천연고성, 그 안에 자리한 화산폭발의 흔적인 분화구가 구름을 부르고, 파도치는 대양을 향해 손짓한다. 어찌 성산에서 해만 뜨겠는가. 하물며 인간사도 햇살 비추는 날 있고, 잔뜩 찌푸린 날 있고,오갈 데 없는데 폭우 쏟아지는 날도 있을 진데… 성산일출봉 분화구에 구름이 머문다. 그리고 잉태의 바다가 성산일출봉을 향해 달려간다.
Risen from under the sea in a volcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago, Seongsan Ilchulbong is located on the eastern end of Jeju Island. It is 182m above the sea. There is a huge crater at the top. The crater is about 600m in diameter and 90m high. It provides a magnificent sunrising view from the other side of it. Holding clouds like its crown, Seongsan Sunrise Peak soars out of the emerald blue sea. It is splendid enough to believe as if we come back to the ancient castle in the middle of neptune.
