삼다의 섬에 그 흔한 바람이 제 살 곳을 찾았다. 윙윙 돌아가는 바람개비 아래에 서면 거센 바람소리가 들린다. 월정과 신창, 뜨거운 공기를 뚫고 바다를 건너온 바람이 제주 섬의 東에서 西로 종횡무진하다. 황홀한 노을빛에 물들어가는 하늘, 바람이 그 자취를 남기고 태양이 그 바람을 품는다.
The biggest wind-powered generators in Korea, Shinchang-ri estate had developed since 1996 in order to supply alternative clean energies. The exact address is Haengwon-ri in the Northeast of Jeju island. One of the old name of Jeju island is Samdado which means Three Rich Island with Stones, Winds, and Women. The people of Jeju were born in the wind and pass away beyond the wind. They live up the wind all the way from the west to the east. Now the part of their lives meets high technologies and rewards them. The wind turbines have 72m diameter’s fans and 62m height.
